Quick little piano diddy with Kim Edwards on backup vocals.
2018
Here's a collection of songs that having nothing to do with each other, except I made them all about the same time. I'll link directly to my favorites. Full playlist below.
How Ya Gonna Make It Up To Me This Time - just me and acoustic guitar being angsty
Tiny Soul That I Am - me and acoustic being grateful. Inspired by Luke.
Ghost Town - Joe Stuhff and I rapping about spooky stuff over Techno Gauntlet
Bath Salt Homeless Rockstar - basically a rip off of Loser, including the sample
Whims of a Flake - um, more Techno Gauntlet weirdness
No Reason Why - a durge on piano
I Gotta Fire - this tune seriously rocks, me on guitar with distortion vocals, Joe on bass, Ariam on drums
Jam In The Background - Joe and I rappin' over a jam with Kai, kinda groove funk
Face It - another jam with Kai that I added words over, more like a grunge song maybe?
Damn Good Fire Pit - I love this one, a straight up campfire song, started with acoustic, added bass, some slide, and some piano too. Inspired by a line from Thomas' around his campfire
Neon Maker - a fun one written in Yale's neon shape. the backing tracks from a jam with Joe and Kai
Working Late Into The Night - basic guitar rocker, Joe on bass and Kai on drums
Coming as Two - vocals and piano, a love song, but kinda funny
Laddy Fucking Da - solo acoustic, pretty funny, obvs vulgar
So Far So Bad - me and the guitar with 2 missing strings
Men In The Bushes - a song where I try to freak out the audience and get them to look behind them, words added to the song "Delaid" originally with Critter and Bud.
I met Critter (Christopher Havemann) and Bud (Warren Libey) in my neighborhood in Coeur d'Alene. I could hear someone jamming from my yard, and walked around till I found them. Pretty fun instrumental psychedelic rock.
I returned to Minnesota for a week, and Cory, Luke, and I wrote and recorded this in a couple days. I used an old tape machine so it's all analog, this one.
